The difference between Sweet Caroline and Sweet Caroline 2 is the number of fabrics and fabric placement. While the design of both quilt patterns is the same, directions for creating each one with specific fabric placement are different, thus two distinct patterns were written. Sweet Caroline II uses 5 fabrics, and Sweet Caroline uses a variety of fabrics in medium and dark hues.

To make the blue and yellow version of Sweet Caroline, place darker blues and yellows as the Assorted Darker Prints, and medium blues and yellows as the Assorted Medium Prints.
